ATTENTION GARWOOD RESIDENTS:
Bulk Garbage pick up for the reminder of 2010 for both sides of town has
been eliminated due to budget cuts. The pick ups that were scheduled for
June 26, July 29, September 24, and October 28, 2010 are canceled. The borough
is addressing alternate methods to provide this service. You are advised
not to put bulk materials out with household trash. On the dates listed
above, you can put out regular household trash for pick up instead of bulk.
A revised schedule is being sent to residents in the next several weeks.

Household garbage is to be placed in covered watertight
receptacles that do not exceed 35 gallons in size per Borough Code.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS HAS BEGUN TO ENFORCE THE CODE THERFORE FAILURE
TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN THE ISSUANCE OF A SUMMONS AND YOUR GARBAGE NOT
BEING PICKED UP.
Household garbage and bulk is picked-up curbside for all residential units
located within the Borough according to schedule. Receptacles and bulk can
not be placed curbside before 6:00 p.m. the night before your scheduled
pick-up.
